FiveDaysFiveWays x Able Made: Collaboration

Happy Cyber Monday!

We're so excited to announce our collaboration with Able Made, the ready to care shopping destination.  As we showcase four different items from the 2013 Able Made collection, we hope this special partnership helps to expand our intention in the fashion space and impacts social change.

While planning the collaboration over the past few weeks with the company's Founder, CEO and Creative Director--Suzanne McKenzie--we were beyond inspired by Able Made's mission: to bring communities together by creating beautifully designed, exclusive products that fund social impact projects.  With every purchase, you make an impact.  Able Made retails exclusive design collaboration products and a portion of each and every Able Made product sold will be used to support a project created for social impact.

While we are no strangers to partnerships with local and national brands, we couldn't be more thrilled to kick off the holiday giving season with our first collaboration for the greater good. Teaming up with Able Made provides for a great opportunity to really give purpose to what we wear and how we wear it.  Each product created by Able Made funds social impact projects.

And what's a 5x5 week without a fabulous featured guest?  For this week, we've invited our dearest friend with one of the biggest hearts for social impact: the one and only, Meg Siegal.

Meg will be wearing the Loomstate for Able Made Private Label tee, made for funding the Ucal McKenzie Breakaway Foundation.  Jess will be rocking The Warrior Scarf by Able Made X Anya Ayoung Chee, created in collaboration with the TallMan Foundation to empower Trinidad and Tobago youth through the arts.  Erin will be showing us how to style a statement accessory with The Dot Clutch by Able Made X WHIT, made with foundation partner, Not for Sale, which helps to provide skills training to 30 Peruvian women at risk for human trafficking.  And last but not least, this week we welcome Cass back to the 5x5 fun--the first time she's back for the challenge after welcoming little Clementine into the world!  She'll be showing us how to diversify your jewelry collection with the Natasha CFDA Rose & Ruby bracelets by Able Made X Shashi.  The bracelets are made for financing the general fund of the CFDA Foundation to support fashion designers in the U.S.

So please follow the fun with us this week on Instagram and Facebook.  Be sure to check out the entire 2013 Collection.  And, even more exciting news: YOU can get involved yourself to help make an impact with Able Made's fundraiser for their 2014 Collection, launching just in time for Valentine's Day in a few months.
